# Panelcraft > Shape a page. Arrange a book. Give your story a voice. Panelcraft is a free comic-book studio that keeps your work on your device. Arrange a story across editable pages, build panel layouts with artwork, speech balloons and screentones, and stage original posed mannequin references. Export clean pages, a book contact sheet, lettering CSV and an editable project you can carry between devices. Panelcraft (Comic books & figure references) is a premium app of usefulweb.site (https://usefulweb.site/): a full program that runs in the browser. Its engine is deterministic and the same functions are exposed as tools, so an agent can compute exactly what the app shows. ## Use it - Landing page: https://panelcraft.usefulweb.site/ - Workspace (browser app): https://panelcraft.usefulweb.site/app - open a project with https://panelcraft.usefulweb.site/app#project= or a template with https://panelcraft.usefulweb.site/app#template= - Project file format (JSON Schema): https://panelcraft.usefulweb.site/project.schema.json - Tutorials: https://panelcraft.usefulweb.site/tutorials - JSON API: POST https://panelcraft.usefulweb.site/api/v1/tools//calculate (catalog: https://panelcraft.usefulweb.site/api/v1/tools) - OpenAPI: https://panelcraft.usefulweb.site/openapi.json - MCP (Streamable HTTP): https://panelcraft.usefulweb.site/mcp ## Engine tools - [Comic Book & Booklet Planner](https://panelcraftbookplan.usefulweb.site/): Plan a multi-page comic, contact sheet and folded booklet order. Each page retains the Comic Desk limits: 12 panels, 36 balloons and 6 megapixels. - Panel artwork is a snapshot. Continue detailed painting in Flipline or Lumina and reimport the image. - System-font lettering uses estimated glyph widths; review the exported art before print. No font embedding, CMYK separation or exact typography guarantee. Bleed export repeats the outermost page pixels; it cannot add artwork beyond the page edge. - Contact sheets are overviews up to 8 megapixels. The booklet tool plans page order rather than producing an imposed press PDF. - Figure references are original low-poly drawing aids. They do not recreate anatomical scans, MakeHuman assets, skeletal animation or rigged character exports.
